
Zackary Byrd, M.D.
Specializes in: Adult Reconstruction of the Hip and Knee and treats conditions leading to the need for joint replacement, as well as evaluation and management of already implanted but problematic total joint replacements. He also has experience in treating Orthopedic trauma.

- Has special interests in orthopedic research, education, and missionary work.
Dr. Byrd received his bachelor’s degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Kent State University. He received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed residency as an orthopedic surgeon and completed Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Replacement at the University of Texas at Houston’s McGovern Medical School, which is affiliated with UT Physicians and the Memorial Hermann Hospital system in Houston, Texas. Dr. Byrd practiced for one year at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital prior to joining JIS October 1st, 2020.
